U6 and U8 Schedule Changes Due to Fall River Bridge Closure

The bridge that connects East and West Fall River will be closing at the end of June for the remainder of the summer. This will effectively separate our Ash Lee Jefferson and Holland Road playing fields and may increase travel time for a family who lives on one side of the bridge, and plays on the other. 

 

We are committed to ensuring each player and parent gets a positive experience. We have decided to return to our previous format where U6’s from 6:00-7:00 PM and U8’s from 7:15-8:15 PM. During the month of June, teams will play at both Ash Lee Jefferson and Holland Road depending on their schedule to ensure that teams get to play with and ‘against’ a variety of other groups. 

 

When the bridge closes, our plan is to have all Beaver Bank and Ash Lee Jefferson teams stay in the Ash Lee Jefferson field, and all Holland Road, Oakfield and Waverley teams on the Holland Road field. This will limit travel time for families and avoid, for the most part, long trips.
