Senior Co-ed Recreational (7-aside indoor in both summer and winter seasons)

 

Senior Women B

Who can participate?
The Senior Women B teams play in the MSWSL for the summer and the MISL in the winter. There are Provincial competetion games at this level. The Coach makes the final say at tryouts wth regards to placement. The Toros were established in 1991 and play in a highest division in the League. Players who play with these teams have come from all levels of play and are at least 17 years of age by January 1st in the current year for summer play and or at the start of the winter season will be turning 17 by January 1st the following year.

What equipment is required?
The players are required to wear shin pads, cleats or turf shoes (depending on field) with Scotia socks and shorts. Socks and shorts can be purchased from the Club. Jerseys are supplied by the teams.

What is the schedule?
There are generally two games a week in the summer and one game a week in the winter. 

Coaching
Teams are coached by volunteers. 

Where will they play?
In the summer, travel for league games are on turf fields within Halifax Regional Municipality. In the winter they play at the BMO Soccer Centre indoor facility.   

Tournaments
Attendance at tournaments is discussed at a team meeting.

Cost
Please refer to the Registration tab and select Program and Registration Information for for current season rates.  Additional fees can include, referee fees, team equipment, tournaments, purchase of clothing items (ie, shorts, socks), additional practice or training sessions and team offical  travel expenses.

Senior Women C

Who can participate?
Senior Women C play for the summer play in CISL and in the winter, play MISL Division 4. The Coach makes the final decision wth regards to team placement. Players who play with these teams have come from all levels of play and are at least 18 years of age in the current year for summer play and or at the start of the winter season will be turning 18 the following year.

What equipment is required?
Players are required to wear shin pads, cleats or turf shoes (depending on field) with socks and shorts. Jerseys are supplied by the teams.

What is the schedule?
There are generally two games a week in the summer and one game a week in the winter.  

Coaching
Teams are coached by volunteers.

Where will they play?
In the summer, travel for league games is within Halifax and In the winter they play at BMO Soccer Centre indoor facility.

Tournaments

Senior Coed Rec

Who can participate?
The Senior Coed Rec teams play indoors at the BMO Soccer Centre in the CISL for the summer and winter. Players who play with these teams have come from all levels of play and are at least 18 years of age in the current year for summer play and or at the start of the winter season will be turning 18 the following year.  Senior players registered on any other senior teams (including a youth player registered on a senior team) can also register and play on the Senior Co-Ed Recreational team.  

What equipment is required?
The players are required to wear shin pads, cleats or turf shoes with socks and shorts. Socks and shorts can be purchased from the Club.  Each player is assigned a  jersey that must be returned at the end of the season. 

What is the schedule?
There are three sessions for this level, over two seasons. The Summer season starts in May and continues to the end of September. The winter season session 1, starts in October and ends in Decmber and the second session runs from January to March. Registrations for the second session must be completed by December 31.

Coaching
Teams are coached by volunteers. 

Where will they play?
They play all seasons at SNS indoor facility. 

Tournaments
CISL plans tournaments possibly between sessions and seasons.
