INFECTION CONTROL

To avoid the spreading of H1N1 virus, the Public Health Agency advises Canadians to:

  •        Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, or use hand sanitizer
  •        Cough and sneeze in your arm or sleeve
  •        Keep doing what you normally do, but stay home if sick.

In addition, Scotia Soccer Club requests that the following be implemented by players:

  •         No sharing of water bottles
  •         No hand shaking before or after a game with refs or the other team

For further information please refer to NS Department of Health statement on H1N1 virus precautions and sports.
