A celebration of women in sport March 27, 2018 Mount Saint Vincent University

Join Allison Sandmeyer-Graves, CEO for the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women in Sport (CAAWS) for an exciting afternoon of learning and networking that will showcase inspiring Nova Scotian female athletes and sport leaders. This event will include:
  • Lunchtime keynote presentation from former Olympian, Hall of Fame Inductee and author, Karen Furneaux.
  • Informative breakout sessions with Nova Scotia Sport Leaders and CAAWS staff.
  • Closing panel of Olympians who will share their journey in sport.
The event is targeted at those involved with women and girls in the Nova Scotia sport sector, as well as female university or college students interested in learning more about career paths for women in sport.
